Commonly regarded as Australia's superfoods, the bush food we share with you on this experience are full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, that are not only good for you but taste amazing. Turn your mediocre meal into dishes that are packed full of flavor and life. In this cooking class you will learn how to utilize local Australian bush food to make your own delicious meal.  At the end of the class, take a seat in the outdoor dining area that overlooks Craigmuir lake and enjoy spoils of your efforts. You will also receive a recipe e-booklet to take home so you can impress your family and friends at your next dinner party! We use a seasonal menu that utilizes the best of local and native produce. Check our home page to see this seasons menu. Cooking classes are only available on Saturday at the moment between 2pm-7pm to house guests only. Unfortunately we can not cater to food intolerances, anaphylaxis, allergy or dietary requirements in this class.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy Missed Experience Policy Our goal is to provide quality activities to all our guests in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other clients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments. Cancellation When you book with us, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other guests. In order to be respectful of others, please call Avalon Karatau 48 hours before the experience stars. That you will not be able to make the experience. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance. Experiences are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another guests to attend. How to Cancel Your Experience If you need to cancel your experience, please call us at 0402606481 between the hours of 5pm - 9pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible. Late Cancellations/No-Shows A cancellation is considered late when the experiences we do is cancelled less than 48 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a guest misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the guest the total price of the booked experience missed fee. Please note, we do not offer refunds. However, if you give us at least 48 hours notice of your need to cancel, we will credit your payment toward another Event/Class. However, if you do not cancel with at least 48 hours notice, you will lose any payments you have already made.
