Lilly Pilly Jelly Custard

I love making quick and easy fresh desserts that are fun but taste good too. As we have so many Lilly Pillies this year in the garden at moment I decided to make this Lilly Pilly Jelly and Custard Standup Right.
I am a lover of jelly and custard! This jelly dessert is probably one of our simplest recipes but one that is fairly healthy and a lovely treat for yourself.
The layered jelly is such a simple decoration that can be made by laying a thin layer of jelly on a tray and can be varied with any fruit and jelly flavour you like. You could also use disposable ice cream cups as a mode for the custard too.
Ingredients
1 batch Lilly Pilly Syrup
1/4 tsp agar agar or vegetarian gelatine such as Jell-It-In
Custard
1 cups of coconut cream, chilled
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
1/2 a cup plant based milk
2 tbsp corn flour
1/2 a cup of caster sugar
Method
Make the Lilly pilly syrup per previous post.
Make the custard by whisking all the ingredients together in a saucepan then turning the heat on.
Stir constantly as it warms up in medium heat until it gets thick.
Pour the mix evenly into 2 cups.
Put in fridge to set for a few hours.
Put about 1/2 a cup of syrup in a saucepan with 1/4 tsp of agar agar or vegetarian gelatine and bring to the boil
Pour the mix over the custard evenly then back in the fridge to set
