Wattle Seed Anzac Biscuit.
Anzac day is only a few days away and one of the traditions was making Anzac Biscuits.
I have create a slight spin on the traditional biscuit adding a few of my own ideas to the Aussie Anzac.
ingredients 1/4 cup Honey
Cinnamon Myrtle spices 1 cup Macadamia meal
A tablespoon of crushed wattle seeds 1 cup Desiccated coconut
1 cup Macadamias 1/4 cup Butter
1 tbsp Water
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate Soda Method
Preheat the oven to 160°C.
Grease two oven trays and line them with baking paper.
Combine coconut, meal, honey and wattleseed.
Stir butter, and water in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth, then add the bicarbonate of soda.
Stir wet mixture into dry mixture until well-combined.
Spoon level teaspoons of the combined mixture onto baking trays, flattening slightly and leaving about three inches of space between each.
Bake for 20 minutes, allow to cool and enjoy!
